What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy can best be described as a conversational relationship between two people, the therapist and client , where the client is the focus. It aims to be a nonjudgemental space where the client can feel free to talk about themselves and issues that concern them, in a way that often cannot be spoken about elsewhere. Therapy deals with the emotional content of an individual's life and relationships.  People bring to therapy the distress, fears, anxieties and suffering that make them unhappy and often unable to cope. They may come to therapy when the old patterns and strategies for coping  have broken down and are no longer helpful. Thinking together with a therapist about  a clients life can make the difference between feeling utterly alone and the knowledge that another person, the therapist , is dedicated to being alongside for as long as it takes. No problem is considered too small or too large . Each individual is unique .
Therapy gives an opportunity not only for change but also a chance  to achieve a happier and more fulfilled life.
